The comparison applies to fossil and non-safety nuclear power plant piping standards (the equivalent of today&#039;s ASME B31\/1) and, where they exist, to nuclear safety class power plant piping standards (the equivalent of today&#039;s ASME Boiler &amp; Pressure Vessel Code Section III).<\/p>\n<p> The review focuses on design equations for the sizing and stress qualification of power piping. Differences in materials and construction are not addressed.
