This document covers only non-woody briquettes produced from the following raw materials (see <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;17225-1:2021<\/span>, Table&nbsp;1<\/span>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>2 Herbaceous biomass<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>3 Fruit biomass<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>4 Aquatic biomass<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>5 Biomass blends and mixtures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;1\n <\/div>\n<p>Herbaceous biomass originates from plants that have a non-woody stem and which die back at the end of the growing season. It includes grains or seeds crops from food production or processing industry and their by-products such as cereals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;2\n <\/div>\n<p>Blends and mixtures include blends and mixtures from the main origin-based solid biofuel groups woody biomass, herbaceous biomass, fruit biomass and aquatic biomass.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Blends are intentionally mixed biofuels, whereas mixtures are unintentionally mixed biofuels.
