Ce document remplace l\u2019\u00e9dition ant\u00e9rieure publi\u00e9e en 2014 qui portait la d\u00e9signation CAN\/CSA-ISO 5364 (norme ISO 5364:2008 adopt\u00e9e). Par souci de bri\u00e8vet\u00e9, tout au long de ce document, il sera appel\u00e9 \u00abCAN\/CSA-ISO 5364\u00bb.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domaine d\u2019application <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La pr\u00e9sente Norme internationale sp\u00e9cifie les exigences relatives aux canules oropharyng\u00e9es en mati\u00e8re plastique et\/ou en caoutchouc, notamment celles qui comportent un renfort ins\u00e9r\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re plastique et\/ou en m\u00e9tal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La pr\u00e9sente Norme internationale ne s\u2019applique pas aux canules oropharyng\u00e9es en m\u00e9tal, ni ne traite des exigences concernant l\u2019inflammabilit\u00e9 des canules oropharyng\u00e9es.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019inflammabilit\u00e9 des canules oropharyng\u00e9es, par exemple en cas d\u2019utilisation de produits anesth\u00e9siques inflammables, d\u2019appareils d\u2019\u00e9lectrochirurgie ou de lasers, repr\u00e9sente un danger bien connu.
