It is the second edition of CAN\/CSA-C22.2 No. 60745-2-3 and the second edition of UL 60745-2-3. This Standard is based on IEC 60745-2-3, second edition. <\/p>\n<h4>Scope<\/h4>\n<p>This clause of Part 1 is applicable, except as follows: <\/p>\n<p>1.1 Addition:<\/p>\n<p>This Standard applies to grinders, with a rated speed not exceeding a peripheral speed of the accessory of 80 m\/s at rated capacity, polishers and disk-type sanders, including angle, straight and vertical. This Standard applies to tools with a rated capacity not exceeding 230 mm. <\/p>\n<p>This Standard does not apply to random-orbit polishers and random-orbit sanders.
