{"id":270764,"date":"2024-10-19T18:08:44","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T18:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-153132016\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T14:19:20","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:19:20","slug":"bs-en-153132016","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-153132016\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 15313:2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To ensure safety and interoperability, this Standard gives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>the limits for in-service and off-vehicle wheelsets;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>the operations to be carried out for which the specific values (and\/or criteria) remain to be defined in the maintenance plan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This European Standard applies to wheelsets and axle boxes complying with the following European Standards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>EN 13103, EN 13104;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>EN 13260, EN 13261, EN 13262;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>EN 13979-1;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>EN 13715;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>EN 13749.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>that comprise:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>the axle fitted with wheels of diameters greater than or equal to 330 mm;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>axle boxes with bearings and grease.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This European Standard is also applicable to wheelsets:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>fitted with brake discs, final drive, transmission or noise-damping systems, as appropriate;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>not complying with the above European Standards, but complying with the international requirements in force, for example in UIC leaflets, before the approval of these standards;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>with tyred wheels;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>with resilient wheels.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For equipment not covered by Directive 2008\/57\/EC, this European Standard may be applied, noting that different values may be used.<\/p>\n<p>All dimensions in this Standard are in millimetres (mm).<\/p>\n<p>It is necessary to describe in a specific document the tasks to be performed in order to maintain wheelsets within the limits defined therein.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE The specific values and criteria are defined in an appropriate maintenance plan.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Railway applications.
