ASTM D4311\/D4311M<\/h4>\n

Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1 This practice provides tables of volume correction factors which may be used to convert volumes of asphalt measured at different temperatures to a volume at a standard base temperature. These tables are applicable to all types of asphalts except emulsified asphalts.<\/p>\n

1.2 This practice provides tables to convert asphalt volumes to 15\u00b0<\/span>C [60\u00b0<\/span>F] from volumes measured at any temperature from \u2212<\/span>25 to +275\u00b0<\/span>C [0 to 500\u00b0<\/span>F].<\/p>\n

1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard.<\/p>\n
