{"id":255124,"date":"2024-10-19T16:51:46","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T16:51:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-505222010\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T12:18:12","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T12:18:12","slug":"bs-en-505222010","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-505222010\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 50522:2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This European Standard is applicable to specify the requirements for the design and erection of earthing systems of electrical installations, in systems with nominal voltage above 1 kV a.c. and nominal frequency up to and including 60 Hz, so as to provide safety and proper functioning for the use intended.<\/p>\n<p>For the purpose of interpreting this standard, an electrical power installation is considered to be one of the following:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\">\n<li>\n<p>substation, including substation for railway power supply;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>electrical installations on mast, pole and tower;<\/p>\n<p>switchgear and\/or transformers located outside a closed electrical operating area;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>one (or more) power station(s) located on a single site;<\/p>\n<p>the installation includes generators and transformers with all associated switchgear and all electrical auxiliary systems.
