Description

The present guideline applies to the planning, erection, operation and maintenance of building services facilities. These may be found in or on a) buildings or land which may properly be visited by the general public in addition to the individuals who work there, or b) in buildings or facilities specifically built or installed for the use of visitors. The purpose of this guideline is to make recommendations derived from collected experience as to how building service installations can be planned, built and operated so as to provide far-reaching protection against wilful or unintentional damage to or destruction of technical facilities and components.
