Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Restdruckfestigkeit von multidirektionalen Polymermatrix-Verbundlaminatplatten fest, die durch einen Schlag vor Anwendung von Drucklast in der Ebene beschädigt wurden. Das Prüfverfahren eignet sich für endlosfaserverstärkte Polymermatrix-Verbundstoffe. Die Anwendung des Verfahrens ist auf faserverstärkte Kunststofflaminate mit multidirektionalen Verstärkungen, die aus unidirektionalen Prepreg-Bändern/Stoffen oder Geweben hergestellt sind, beschränkt. Das Prüfverfahren wird als Compression-After-Impact (CAI)-Prüfung bezeichnet, wenn es zur Bestimmung der Restdruckfestigkeit einer Platte, die einem Schlag ausgesetzt wurde, verwendet wird. Es kann verwendet werden, um Daten hinsichtlich Werkstoffspezifikation, Werkstoffbeurteilung, Forschung und Entwicklung oder Aufbau einer Verbundstoff-Datenbank zu erhalten.*Inhaltsverzeichnis
